The Fox & Pheasant is a little “country” pub tucked away in a small corner of Chelsea.

The pub was founded in 1846 and it began its life as the Bedford Arms. Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!

Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! We are lucky enough to be able to wind back our roof in the conservatory for those long summer lunches to.

Alongside our a la carte menu we have a bar snack menu that not only runs all day, everyday but also contains such pub classics. Roasts run all day on a Sunday and we guarantee to make sure you will always have ample spuds, gravy and yorkies!

One of the best if not the best Sunday Roast in London, Great ambience. Excellent food. Love the chocolate mouse too

Great restaurant! Booked this for Sunday lunch as it’s been on my list of places to try for AGES and I thought what better time to try it when my in laws from Edinburgh are down for the weekend! Honestly, unbelievable food, fantastic service and great vibes. We got sat outside in the little courtyard and it was just perfect, the restaurant itself is tucked away into a secluded corner of Chelsea. We as a family have been to many places for a roast, 50 Cheyne, 45 Park Lane, Harwood Pub etc and we must say this has made it to the top three of our favourite Sunday lunch spots! We were so pleased we’re booking to come back end of November time with the rest of the family and we can’t wait!

A bit expensive pub, food and drinks doesn’t worth the price. Spicy margarita is not spicy at all, we order steak for 2, steak was hard and full of fat. Hollandese sauce with bacon and service was amazing.

We had a lovely evening - we were visiting from Melbourne and dined here to catch up with some friends , and celebrated a birthday too, food was delicious and we were made so welcome - thank you, would definitely recommend!

We booked as a party of 4 and it certainly didn’t disappoint, the food was fabulous, our waitress was Zuzi and she was exceptional. Highly recommend.
