The Fox and Hounds is a gastro pub and restaurant, nestling in the heart of the beautiful village of Whittlebury, South Northamptonshire. We’re just a stone’s throw from the home of motor sport – Silverstone – and close to the market towns of Towcester, Brackley and Buckingham.

Inside, the team have created a comfortable and welcoming environment, perfect for you to relax, socialise, eat and unwind. Open to the whole family.

Our Head Chef has created a menu for all tastes and occasions. From a light bite or traditional pub food in the bar, to modern brasserie dishes served in one of our dining rooms, we cater for every occasion.

The menu was short with lots of choice. The food was very tasty and well presented. The only downside was the lack of a front of house staff to greet the guests. This only matters if you have never visited before. I’m sure that can be fixed easily.

Delicious birthday lunch with pals, such fresh food, well worth the detour on the A43. We will be back!

The food was really very good, there was a nice selection and everything was cooked well. Service was friendly. Table was not set correctly and we had to request cutlery and condiments. Wooden seats have cushion seat pads and aren't particularly comfortable. Will definitely visit again, but for a special occasion I feel that the surroundings don't quite meet the occasion.

Three of us eat here as we staying local for the Moto Gp and we all said how nice the food was. The staff are really nice and friendly too,definitely worth a visit … cracking pint of Guinness as well 👍

Yet again the Fox and Hounds did not disappoint. The food is outstanding, the service brilliant and the staff outstanding. I’ve been going to the Fox and Hounds for 10 years now and never had a bad experience. Well deserved top marks.
