With beverage in paw, from wine to frozen cocktail slushy, we invite you to gather the pack and relax in our rustic 1960s inspired habitat, sharing and enjoying our juxtaposing modern Australian cuisine that’s made from exceptional Australian organic/ non-organic produce that’s been sniffed out by our highly trained Hounds..!

(Yeah, nah. They’re actually selected by our head chef… who insists we call him “le Hound”)

Fox and Hounds is our go to restaurant every time. The food is outstanding and Matt and Jasmine really know how to make their guests feel special. All the dishes are fantastic, but the steaks are sensational. Every time we go, and that is often, Fox and Hounds just gets better. Hope it's going to stay around forever

We (my son and I) ordered the Pork Belly entré, Sirloin Steak mains and the Apple Crumble and Sticky Date Pudding for desserts. The pork belly 'croutons'/cubes were soft and easy to eat, combined with leafy greens. The steak was cooked exactly the way we ordered it and was excellent and came with chips, a salad and one's choice of sauce. No complaints about dessert either as I really like their muffin-sized sticky date pudding with caramel sauce and strawberries and my son enjoyed his apple crumble with rhubarb and vanilla ice-cream. A very satiating meal that did not leave one feeling over-fed. The restaurant was fully booked the evening we ate there!

A disappointing and dreadful experience, avoid like the plague. Service (should I say lack of) was the worst ever experienced and will not be spending a cent at a venue that ignores its own patrons

Hi Eddy, I'm sorry you feel this way, we see this differently. You came in wanting a booth, asked multiple times for 1 of the remaining 2 booths which i advised were already booked by large groups. I mentioned I could check when one might become available. I walked you over to your 2 seater table, walked you through the menu, checked if you needed anything and when advised you were fine, i left to attend other tables. Looking at our footage, you two sat for less than 5.5 mins in total, the first 30 seconds attended by me. You put the menu down 3 mins later... You walked out 2 mins later. Folks, per the reviews so many people feel we give amazing service... however if you are not prepared to wait literally 2 minutes... our restaurant probably isn't for you... maccas is crazy quick tho

Very welcome addition to meal options in Hornsby area. Rustic, intimate, low noise levels, good food and service. Also specials every day of the week. Give them a try!
