Most villages have a pub at their very heart and here in Surrey’s Walton-on-the-Hill, The Fox and Hounds pub-restaurant is that place. Promising to maintain a local feel, The Fox and Hounds team has also developed a menu that is proving worth travelling for. Seasonally changing, the menu is fresh and full of European flavour with all dishes featuring locally sourced produce, some even bartered for at the bar. The Fox and Hounds’ Sunday roast is a popular weekly event, ideal when accompanied by a pint of real ale. We were a party of four for lunch. The staff were delightful - so helpful and cheerful. The food was delicious and very ample portions. We would definitely go back.

From arrival to leaving the experience was fantastic. The attention and customer service was outstanding, well done to all the staff The food was excellent and the portions were large. The beef was to die for Definately recommend and visit again Thank you

We booked last minute for lunch. Enjoyable experience, it was not busy so we were served quickly. Lovely hostess served us. Great food too.
