Only issue this time was my order was forgotten , so meal come out much later than the rest of the table . Will not stop me returning . Was just one of those things. It was busy . Food great as always .

Superb cod snd chips yesterday. Previous Sunday the roast lamb dinner also excellent. Lamb was so tender. If food and service are good customers will always return.

The menu didn't match what I found on the website but, it was still lovely. I also didn't get quite what I ordered but again what came was lovely. (Saturday lunchtime menu is now brunch). My friend was very impressed with her lunch too

Meal was ok but not the best my roast wasnt very hot & was a litttle dissapointing that there was no childrens starter choices and when we asked if they could have some garlic bread the chef refused even though it was on the menu with kids pasta so we had to order a kids pasta just to get some garlic bread for starter.

Hi We will normally go out of our way to accomodate peoples requests. It was Mothers day the busiest day of the year so we have to be quote strict on what we can and cant offer. So I do apologize for this on that day. As for children's starters, we have never been asked and I do have 3 children myself and have never had them ask for a starter. Pudding different situation

Had a very bad experience on Mother’s Day waiting over 1 hr for food .son good came and was cold and burnt black sausages unable to eat. Was offered pudding for the wait.

Shown straight to our booked table on time. Short wait for our food to be served . My husband and I both chose the roast lamb . Food hot and plentiful. We were both full after our main and didn't have a pudding.

pleasantly surprised with dining in pub, off street free car park aswell. holly, our waitress, was very pleasant indeed and helpful; food was delicious and came out when expected. we had a lovely table by the window, could not have planned a better location for mothers day lunch
