The Foundry Rooftop restaurant is located on the sixth floor of the AC Hotel in downtown Dayton. Inspired by the fire within foundries, the factories that produce metal castings, this wood-fired kitchen embraces the flame. Devour new takes on internally-inspired cuisine with our Loaded Potato Pizza and Ingot Crab Crakes, or our signature Foundry Reuben and Charred Meatballs. Hearty, midwestern favorites from Chef's David Belknap and Jason Findley anchor our menu like our Crispy Pork Belly and 24-Hour Chicken. And with a combination of smoked whiskeys, classic cocktails, and local beers, you’ll always have the perfect pairing of spirits to enhance the heat of your meal. Made for Dayton locals, or those local for the day, we invite you to join us on our open-air rooftop patio for dinner, drinks and celebrating your most special occasions with a private event.

We had a large party (15) and they did a great job accommodating us at two large tables. Great service and food was delicious and prompt. We had pizza, salmon, pasta and risotto. All delicious. Highly recommend!

While the food and the ambiance were amazing, the wait staff and the service was awful. It took 25 minutes for our appetizer and then another 45 minutes for our food. No one apologized, no one offered us a refill on our drinks, and they didn't even remember who ordered what when the food finally came out. Even worse, I told them it was my son's 18th birthday in advance, They didn't even make an effort to make it special or give us the service we deserved. NEVER AGAIN

Great option for brunch. The deviled egg avocado toast was yummy. We sat outside so noise was not an issue and the weather was great for outdoor seating.

This was an average dining experience. Food was good, but several choices were not available at 8:00 on a Saturday night.

This was my second time at The Foundry. Really enjoyed each time, the food, people and service were great. My girlfriend really enjoyed the atmosphere.

This was an okay experience… definitely not fabulous or 5 star! Our meals arrived at the table MANY minutes apart (we were a party of six). The person who delivered my husbands meal didn’t even know what it was. The waitress hardly checked on us. It was VERY mediocre service and dining experience for the price you pay. Literally no one checked on us. I wouldn’t go back and I definitely wouldn’t recommend to others.
