The Forest Hotel is a boutique hotel and bar with 12 luxury bedrooms and an award-winning Gastro-Pub restaurant, located in the heart of Dorridge, directly opposite the train station. An 1870's coach house turned boutique hotel, The Forest Hotel bridges traditional with contemporary. Our cosy fine dining restaurant offers a wide selection of meals - ranging from our Pub Classics and Famous Chicken Wings to our award winning Sunday Roasts and our delightful Lunch menu, which changes weekly.

We had a lovely time, the sun was out and we were able to sit outside having drinks and decided to eat outside too. The service was very good, food lovely, however, a couple of our dishes were served with a lot of sauce which we had to leave as we hadn’t been given any spoons. Overall, a good lively place to have a drink with good friends and eat nice food.

Hi. We were a party of 4. 3 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals - Chateaubriand and beef. Unfortunately, the other meal - Lamb, was tough and was served in a bowl of oil. We were offered a “discount” of half the price. In addition the inexperienced staff spilt the Chateau on the table. Not very good at all for 1 of our party !!

Pleasant staff, good menu choice. Found noise level ( from the bar) rather loud particularly as we were in the restaurant away from the bar area.

Great food, very slow service between courses, drinks and even paying the bill. Was a quiet lunchtime too.

We came for a birthday celebration, the food was really good and waiting staff were very friendly and efficient. However, it was extremely noisy with noise carrying in from the bar area which made it difficult to hold a conversation. I would come back again for the food but would try and find a quieter time.

Have eaten here on several occasions and it’s been fabulous. Wasn’t as good as usual sadly. Asked for no onions on kids pasta, but this was interpreted as no onions on the adult burger. Trout was ordered but 99% sure it was salmon - which was also on the menu. It’s a lovely restaurant but didn’t get the sense of care and attention I’ve been accustomed to.
