The Forest Hotel is a boutique hotel and bar with 12 luxury bedrooms and an award-winning Gastro-Pub restaurant, located in the heart of Dorridge, directly opposite the train station. An 1870's coach house turned boutique hotel, The Forest Hotel bridges traditional with contemporary. Our cosy fine dining restaurant offers a wide selection of meals - ranging from our Pub Classics and Famous Chicken Wings to our award winning Sunday Roasts and our delightful Lunch menu, which changes weekly.

The food was delicious however huge problem here with communication and customer service. Booked for a Xmas work meal for Saturday at 4pm and had several emails with staff regarding the booking. When arrived was told that from 4 only chicken wings and snacks were available, this had never been mentioned in the several emails within which I was told I did not need to preorder and that we just order on the evening, Was told that they could ‘open the kitchen early’ for the a la carte menu from 5 but we would need to wait with drinks until that time and would need to clear the table by 7. This was ok so we settled with drinks to wait but were then told by another waitress we needed to come through quickly to our table so they could serve us and clear it in time for the booking. A sense from start to finish that we were an inconvenience, that this was all our issue/mistake and priority was the incoming table at 7. I raised all of this with the manager at the end of the meal and there was no acknowledgement of the issue at all, let alone an apology. He was clearly cross and frustrated that I had raised this and was arguing his point with me - that I should not have booked a table at four o’clock. I had to show him the emails from his own staff confirming the booking with no reference to a la Carte menu not being available. Food was delicious so a shame the communication and service did not match up.

Just amazing. Top quality food. Friendly staff. No rushing us to order. Will be making this a regular venue.

Beautiful Sunday roast . Plenty of food. Excellent value. Will be going again soon and definitely recommend.

Really like The Forest Hotel. Usually go for Wings Wednesday (a must). Took the family for Sunday lunch which was really nice. Without realising their was a difference i selected the restaurant when booking online, which is essentially their function room. I didn't like the room and it didn't have a great atmosphere. I much prefer the bar/restaurant area. Next time I'll stick to what I know. My wife and I have the Sunday Lunch (beef) and my kids had the Korean Chicken Burger. All really tasty and with good service.

Lovely busy pub. Prompt & attentive service. Good quality food especially the famous buffalo wings. Relaxed environment and good pace.

We always enjoy our breakfast here. It’s good that you take care of those in our group requiring Gluten Free food. Would be great if you had more teapots available.
