The Forest Hotel is a boutique hotel and bar with 12 luxury bedrooms and an award-winning Gastro-Pub restaurant, located in the heart of Dorridge, directly opposite the train station. An 1870's coach house turned boutique hotel, The Forest Hotel bridges traditional with contemporary. Our cosy fine dining restaurant offers a wide selection of meals - ranging from our Pub Classics and Famous Chicken Wings to our award winning Sunday Roasts and our delightful Lunch menu, which changes weekly.

Really lovely meal. There was a nice lively atmosphere in the bar section but a little more quieter in the restaurant which was nice while we were eating. Staff were very helpful and attentive and the Sunday lunch was delicious. Would highly recommend.

It was very busy and service was slow to start with. Once the food arrived it was tasty and plentiful. This was our second visit for Sunday lunch and we were not disappointed.

Fabulous food and reasonably priced..loved it and recommend to anyone..the cauliflower wings were incredible..and the service was fast and servers very pleasant..

Excellent mid week lunch-lots of choice at various prices. Generous, well cooked and well presented food. Wines a bit pricey , and Prosecco at £11 a glass is ridiculous.

Had Sunday lunch beef was excellent everything piping hot and had extra cauliflower cheese was value for money didn’t scrimp on portions had Black Forest gateau for pudding

A bad decision to go on a Saturday night and some average food. We booked a table for 4 7.45pm. We got there early 7.30pm and "checked in" whilst getting a drink at the bar. We were told our table was ready- great! Just as we gathered our stuff we were told they'd made a mistake and we'd have to wait 10min, which was fine... We were given menus to peruse and apologies and the offer of a free drink followed, 20 - 25 minutes late we were sat down and ordered mains, we were after a plain burger and fries, Korean chicken burger and beef ragu that came out in due course. The plain burger had a mustard dressing on the bun, the chicken burger was over cooked and the beef in the ragu had bits of gristle in it. Yes I know why didn't we complain when the waitress asked! It was getting late we were hungry, it spoilt our enjoyment, it didn't make the food inedible just disappointing. We did get a free drink for the delay but weren't as glowing in good food as we normally are after one of their Sunday lunches. We'll go again, perhaps choose wiser on a Saturday evening and hopefully have a better experience.
