It's always a pleasure to visit the Forbes Arms for a meal. The food is excellent, the staff are very friendly and attentive. Just another fortnight until we go again.

Wonderful food well served by friendly staff, tables well spaced out. We both had the lamb rump all fat had been cooked away. A lovely Saturday night out

Bright, airy and well laid out dining area. Friendly and helpful staff and expedient service. Menu with something to suit all tastes and the food we had was delicious.

This is the 3rd time we have visited but the first time to have the choice of the full menu. We were there early and I am a bit of a fussy eater but the chef was very happy to accommodate my needs and therefore myself and my husband enjoyed a lovely meal.

Pre dinner drinks outside in a beautiful setting by the river. Meal itself was nice. Food well cooked but long wait for dessert order to be taken. The bottle of wine we ordered was just plonked on the table and waitresses turned and left!! White gloves on serving staff seems a bit OTT and unnecessary…. especially when they are holed and food covered! Good dining experience could be even better with a bit more staff training
