A classic British Afternoon Tea, available Monday to Sunday, 2:30pm - 3:45 pm. Please note that card details are required to secure your booking but will not be charged apart from in the event of no-shows in which case we reserve the right to charge £10 per person. Payment will be taken for your afternoon tea when you visit us. Please make us aware of any dietary requirements at least 48 hours prior to your afternoon tea bookings. Optional prosecco upgrades can be booked during the reservation process.

Perfect place for a wonderful meal on the water in Oxford. Strong range of cocktails and wines. Good range of choices for the veggie forward and veggie reserved among us. Warm and thoughtful service.

Excellent food. Apparently there was a bit of delay on the main course but we were sat by the river on a lovely summer’s evening with good company and good service level. All in all, a lovely evening and within 3 mins walk of a bus stop, so no worries about parking and driving home.

Very poor service but food is good. We waited over an hour and a half for our mains. Poor service. Food was delicious but one main arrived cold but at that point we were so hungry after waiting so long we were so hungry and just wanted to eat and leave. We had booked many months ahead of time and were out in a corner without a view of the river which was a shame. Sadly we would not visit again.

Lovely restaurant with great food and cocktails! The outdoor seating is a must-do for a sunny day on the river.

Thanks to previous reviews by Open Table travelers. We enjoyed The Folly immensely. We sat outside by the dock and had the tasting menu with wine flight. The wines were excellent w/ generous pours — best wine value we have seen in a dozen years. The food was inventive, nicely presented, and delicious. The service was superb ( thanks Alexa!)

wonderful ambience , view and food . The service was outstanding and the team were able to accommodate some additional guests so had to deal with 17 of us without pre order but still they delivered. Thank you

Went for afternoon tea with 3 friends and we had a lovely time. The staff were great and the food was really good. They didn’t rush us and the location was amazing.
