Very impressed with the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff. Great attention to detail in the design ethos for the restaurant, quirky in the just the right way.

This was a last minute booking and it did not disappoint. I was a bit dubious when we arrived and realised it was in a hotel but these doubts were soon quashed. The service was friendly with plenty of people serving. Drinks were served quickly and there are some interesting 'Cambridge themed' cocktails, quite pricey but aren't they always? We had to wait some time for our food, although this isn't a complaint, in fact it's reassuring to know that it's freshly cooked,our accompanying sauces tasted fresh with distinct ingredients and the chicken and veggie dishes we both had were well presented and tasty. The only minus is drinks orders weren't entirely accurate-wrong beer,single not double spirit served and one server who couldn't explain/suggest the cocktail options but these were minor and didn't affect the overall experience. We will return.

The Starters we ordered were really nice we had chick pea arancini and asparagus both were tasty and well presented. For main we both had the Fellows fish and chips which looked really good when they were placed on our table but we soon found out both meals were cold. It appears they had been cooked the same time as our starters were brought out so by the time we got them they had gone cold. The waitress took them away and brought them back five mins later they had been put back in the fryer to warm up again . The food was now hot but quite a lot of grease from the re heat was left on the plate and the chips were the frozen variety not much taste. Also a beer I ordered from the limited menu was not available. It was ok but with so many restaurants to try in Cambridge we would not use again.

Nice and relaxed - quiet away from the city centre. And the pool table is good!

What a lovely hidden gem! Lovely food, incredible chips, shame the place was so quiet, I hope business picks up, as it's some where I want to visit in the future!

The new Afternoon Tea service is fantastic. Scones were perfectly done - large, light and fluffy and still warm from the oven. My very particular husband said they were the best he’d had in years! The sandwiches were a very generous size as well - the coronation chicken sandwich was especially nice. Tasty desserts too. 10/10, will be back.

Amazing Service, friendly environment, delicious food at very competitive price. We love the place so much that we go every week. Highly recommended!

I don't recall the website etc stating the set meal deal has to be pre-booked so I went à la carte. The pan fried scallop dish was superb, perfectly cooked scallops, enough sauce & truly crispy bacon 🤤 I couldn't resist the truffled "fries" and together made me glad i didn't order a main!! The wine menu didn't jump out to me given there's a great local wine bar nearby whilst the cocktails seemed too sweet........my waiter said the barman could make something off piste which worked out really well - except the price and the several small ice cubes making it wet at the end 🙄 Whilst there were people there, as a solo diner I often feel I'm kept away from the main area.

Unfortunately the food was not up to standard, the lasagne was extremely dry and inedible, the plant burger was too much like meat. However, on a good note the hotel was lovely, clean and had a great quiet atmosphere. The staff were really helpful. Perhaps the snacks are better there.
