Afternoon Tea at the Folio Bar & Kitchen is certainly a special occasion. Served on a tiered stand are all the hallmarks of a quintessential English Afternoon tea - scones, finger sandwiches, sweet treats, all masterfully crafted by our in-house Pastry Chef. Not to mention an exquisite selection of teas. For a special treat, feel free to pair your experience with a glass of bubbly. Advanced Booking is required.

The afternoon tea was actually good the place is really cold and the service is unfortunately really bad. You can obviously feel that the waiter lacked of experience. It was awkward at some point. She made me pay the full price of a glass of prosecco at £8 something but on the menu, it was an extra £5 for this exact glass. When I told her she just panicked and I don't wanted to be more bothered because I knew the situation would be complicated to held by this young girl. We just left. for good.

Could not fault the food. The staff were very polite and attentive. Cocktails are brilliant . Definitely recommend.

We had an amazing experience last night dining at Folio Bar & Kitchen. I have Celiac and they presented me with a gluten free menu to accommodate me. I love the atmosphere of the hotel and restaurant, the service was excellent, food and presentation were fantastic and cocktails from the bar very tasty! I highly recommend! Will be back!

Mains was not exactly as described on menu and principal item was miniscule. Otherwise a very good experience. We like being there.

We have been a number of times and enjoy being there. There were a number of shortcomings in the service this time. None worthy of complaint individually but taken together worthy of adverse comment. Also the starter was not exactly as described on menu and the king oyster mushroom with the mains was dense and completely without flavour. Otherwise very good ingredients and great flavours. Nevertheless we will return and will look forward to doing so.

We had a lovely meal for my partners birthday. The food and cocktails were excellent, the staff were all very friendly and the restaurant was nice and quiet. We even got a free birthday dessert, a book mark and the staff all signed a card for my partner which was a lovely touch.
