This was not the first time that we dined at the Flying Egg. Previous experiences were very good. This time was not very good. Needed advance reservations for breakfast so management knew we were coming. The Eggs Benedict were over cooked. The Muffins were actually burnt. The Canadian Bacon was sliced too thin and was over cooked. It appeared that you were under staffed as well.

Our reservation for 3 people was at 10:45. When we checked in, we were told it would be just a few minutes for a table to open up. Ahead of us was a walk in party of 9 that was quoted 1.5 hours. The check in area became very crowded as others checked in for their reservations but no tables were opening up. 2 or 3 tables for 2 were open for 20/30 minutes. Walk-in parties of 2 and reservations for 2 were seated immediately. At this point, we had been waiting for our table for 30 minutes. The walk-in party of 9 was seated at this time and then a reservation of 6 that came in 25 minutes after us. Not sure why a walk-in party on the waiting list was seated before reservations. About 40 minutes after our reservation time, we were finally seated. The table of 4 behind us when we were finally seated, which closed out their check while we were waiting for our table, stayed seated for at least another hour. I’m not sure why they were allowed to sit after paying for that long when so many people were waiting for a table. The food was good and our server was nice, but we were never checked on after we got our food, our water glasses sat empty for 30 minutes, and we had to flag our server for our check. A disappointing experience.

We love it here. Our food is always high quality & delicious! Our server was awesome. Very attentive and helpful. She was a pleasure and made our visit there extra special:)

This is by far my favorite breakfast place in the lehigh valley. The food is amazing and they have gluten free options for those who need it. The service is outstanding and the have speciality coffee drinks.

We were promptly and politely greeted and seated. Our waitress was very polite and accurate with the order. Drinks and food came out timed well. Restaurant had a fun Halloween decor that wasn’t over the top. Good was beautifully plated and cooked amazing. We enjoyed our breakfast and will be back!
