Authentic Pub Co. have done it again with The Flowerpot in Lower Sunbury, southwest of London. Showered with accolades and awards, this gastropub is one of the best in the Surrey. All the ingredients used in The Flowerpot’s glorious British pub fare are sourced locally and with care, while the drinks are similarly well-curated. Great draught beer and English ale, while the wine list features fine drops from all over the world. All of this can be enjoyed inside the lovingly restored interior of this vintage pub down Thames Street, Lower Sunbury. We have built our reputation on the quality of our food, drink and customer service.

Authentic Pubs has been running The Flower Pot for 12 years now, Originally built in 1714, we are a Grade A listed building and carry the niche and quirky charm. The pub has been refurbished with the true pub in mind with comfortable seating and dining, a real fire and intimate eating area, creating a relaxed and special experience.

Generally the pub was a pleasant place the background music was rather loude. The food was very good the gratuity added to bill was rather high and should have been optional.

Booked online but on arrival no booking was shown on their system We were only having drinks and initially was told we could have a table in the dining area but then some unhelpful member of staff refused as it was dining only, but 9pm on awed it was empty. Very unhelpful staff

Having been to the flower pot previously I went with hight expectations. A friend was visiting so I told her about the bottomless brunch and booked a table online - at no point was I able to specify the bottomless brunch option when booking. When I arrived the waitress showed us to our table where menus were waiting for us. When I said we would like to do the bottomless brunch but that I had not been able to specify that on the booking the waitress said she would have to ringing and check with her manager who was not on the premises. She came back and informed us that we weren't able to have the bottomless brunch option as we had not prebooked it and there was not enough staff to cater this request. At this point we were the only people seated in the pub and there were perhaps 10 people seated outside. We ordered from the lunch 9Which included half of the food options available on the brunch menu)menu and had an enjoyable meal. The food was lovely, when ordering drinks towards the end of our food the waitress offered the cocktail menu. She proceeded to make us cocktails from the brunch menu. The food was lovely, the wait staff were attentive and the atmosphere was good. I am however extremely disappointed that having taken the time to go on line and book a table - during which at no point was I given the option to select bottomless brunch as a choice, I arrived only to be told I could not have bottomless brunch and was then given both food and drink that was on the bottomless brunch menu while being told they were unable to cater for bottomless brunch. I will be leaving it a while before I return.

The macho loaded fries and Angry Pig Pizza are probably my favourite! And all of that with live music on the last Saturdays of the month are the best!

The food was really, really great. Service very good. Ambience and setting excellent. As I'm sure the owner is aware, the only problem is parking.

This is a lovely pub with a village type ambience. The food was of excellent quality and the service was friendly and efficient. I highly recommend it.

Was a quite disappointed with my authentic burger, it was cooked far too well was actually very tough and the brioche roll was so cooked it was like crisp, the chips and coleslaw was nice though, my cousin had the sea bass and she didn’t enjoy it either it was deep fried…also my cousin got a shandy and had to ask for it to be changed as the lager tasted funny( as a barmaid herself she knew it didn’t taste right) then when she did the young lady tried to charge her twice for it until my cousin addressed the bill and the young lady apologised and took it off, actually disappointed was really looking forward to it, so much so we went and had pudding elsewhere.
