Welcome to the Fleece Inn, Bretforton.
The Fleece Inn is the perfect rural retreat, the quintessential English country pub. Just a stone's throw from the beautiful Cotswolds and boasting roaring open fires for the winter months, open garden and apple orchard for the summer sun and a friendly welcome all year round.
With real ales and ciders aplenty this historical pub is a favourite with Real Ale lovers, and the welcoming atmosphere and good food attract visitors from all over the world.
Seasonal and local ingredients are prized, including our famous Asparagus menu in Spring.

Reservable tables are in the pub (standard) or undercover in our orchard (outdoor). There are lots of orchard picnic tables that are not reserved in advance, available for eating and drinking in the sunshine! Dogs are welcome throughout the pub & orchard.

We had another enjoyable return visit for Sunday lunch. We were made welcome and the service very friendly. Our only disappointment was the table we were allocated was in the direct position for each time the door was opened and as such constant draught as the door is often left open. Just a recommendation really that table 6 is moved to be out of this constant draught. Sadly both me and my husband had to leave our jackets on throughout our meal which wasn’t really very comfortable.

Beautiful old building with many nooks and crannies, spaces to eat, as well as ample seating outside. Roaring log fire and excellent food, especially the award winning pies. Would highly recommend this pub for a drink and/or food. The local Morris Men practice here and there are folk nights and live music throughout the year.

Service was very good . Didn’t have to wait long for food, which came very hot and enjoyable. Certainly would go again.

The place is warm and welcome and full of character. The food is FANTASTIC. Everything we ordered was delicious.
