We are regulars at the Fisherman’s Wife and have been coming for many years. As always the food and ambience as well as the service were excellent and well put done. Thanks and we will be back!

Excellent fish and chips. Great location and views. Good value. Lovely friendly staff. Tons better than The Magpie!

Have been here many times before but it didn’t seem the same. On arrival which was 10 minutes early, I spoke to the girl assisting and told her the time we were booked and the first thing she said when I told her I’d requested a window seat was “you can have one this time but you don’t always get one’ I think that was unnecessary and unwelcoming. We sat there for one and a half hours and more of the window seats stayed empty. It was very quiet.

Great experience, great service, great ambience, food absolutely delicious, fantastic choice of fresh seafood. And an amazing sea view as we ate our meal. Highly recommend

I dined alone which is a new experience for me. Waited at the door for a while before I was acknowledged. From the moment I was seated the service improved beautifully. Different servers but all efficient and courteous. Fish pie, wine and Pear and almond tart were superb. I would strongly recommend. Thankyou ‘The Fisherman’s Wife’

The food never fails to please . Service was excellent friendly and very helpful . Fisherman’s wife is one of our family favourite alway book in advance and not disappointed . Thank you amazing

Had a lovely meal. Food was fresh and tasty. Service was very good and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Good value for money.
