Very friendly staff who moved us to a table with a fantastic sea view as soon as one was available. Good value fish and chips but also some different sea food choices. We started with scallops on a squash puree and fresh crab salad with crostini and both were excellent. Good choice of not too expensive wine. Delicious scampi.

Perfect seat for a single diner. I had a beautiful view of the sea, while enjoying a lovely lobster and glass of wine. The music was also perfect- bit of mood/ world so even though there was fun chatter about you could tune out and watch the waves. The food was great, the service was kind, informative and attentive- oh and really friendly. I highly recommend!

Disappointed. Used to be the favourite. Insipid cold chips, thin cod and dry halibut. Staff were great but food very expensive for what it was. Location if you get the window is amazing but otherwise unfortunately nothing to recommend The Fisherman's Wife.

A really wonderful, lovely place, food and quality was excellent and good value. All the staff were very welcoming nothing was too much trouble, brilliant service.
