The food was decent but even for a tasting menu the portions were small compared to several other tasting menus we have tried elsewhere. We were disappointed with the service. One young girl who provided a summary of each plate was excellent, cheery and helpful. The other staff were rude, dismissive, non responsive and we felt as though they wanted us out of the door as soon as we had arrived. When then bill arrived with a 10% service charge included (which came to £40) we were loathed to pay it. Pretty disappointing and we won’t be returning.

Superb tasting menu; such wonderful flavours every mouthful was a real treat! So well balanced too; on reading the menu we all feared that we may not get to the end; but we managed and were very happy indeed! Thank you Fig Tree a great evening; we’ll be back!

We had the tasting menu, which was outstanding! Lovely food, knowledgeable staff, relaxed environment. We didn't have the wine flight, but opted for bottles of wine instead, to which they were fabulous, great wine list. Highly recommend for a special occasion dinner, fine dining at its best. We will be back!

What a wonderful place. Food and service always perfect. Have been several times. Will return again soon. I’m guessing it will get a Michelin Star sometime soon
