Had the taster menu and it was fun and fantastic, washed down with some great wine. Had a great time but don’t think I saw either of the waitresses smile once, which was a shame. We found the service quite unwelcoming overall

Exceptional food, worthy of a Michelin star. Absolutely delicious! We love eating at this restaurant. However on this occasion the welcome on arrival and service while we were there was not as friendly as on previous occasions.

The best food i have ever eaten in my life!! The flavours were unbelievable, Its such a brilliant idea to have a set menu as I would not have usually chosen the things on the menu but oh my goodness it was all amazing, there was not 1 thing I did not love.

My favourite restaurant it was my birthday treat introduced some new people to the restaurant and they were amazed how good the food and restaurant was…. It’s a 5 ⭐️ from us

Another fabulous experience. The quality of food and the service were exceptional. As someone with a nut allergy, I was impressed with the level of professionalism and empathy. I thoroughly enjoyed the soufflé. A particular treat for me. I will look forward to my next visit. Many, many thanks for another memorable time. Ann x

The Fig Tree is the best high end restaurant for miles. The food is exquisite and to be highly recommended. It’s a culinary delight and has no equal . It suits my wife (vegetarian) and myself (omnivore) From the moment you enter the restaurant you are on a journey that excites your tastebuds The 6 course tasting menu has small but delicious plates and the wine pairing makes the meal complete Next time I’m going in the evening for their 8 course menu

Wonderful meal. The food was very tasty and beautifully presented. The service was pleasant- attentive without being intrusive. There was a lovely calm peaceful atmosphere in the restaurant. Looking forward to another visit!
