Michelin star quality food on your doorstep. The kitchen is very talented. The front of house team is relaxed and friendly. If you are a foodie then you must try it.

As good as ever. We are lucky to live only 5 minutes walk away so visit a few times each year. It is always exceptional. Food, service and wine always very good, and the ambiance is great…. Michelin star food but without the pompous formality that often goes with it. Can’t wait to go back…: again!

Fourth time we’ve dined at The Fig Tree. Everything about the restaurant is amazing, especially the food and value for money. Rivals some of the Michelin star restaurants we’ve dined at.

A birthday bash with friends who describe it as their favourite restaurant in the world - having travelled and dined across the globe. Excellent all round service, food and service on a busy night.

Absolutely wonderful evening to celebrate our anniversary! Our food was delicious, made with incredible care and sensational taste combinations. The wine flight was spot on with interesting information about each one.

Second time here and we were not disappointed (this time with my daughter for her 40th). The taster menu (we had the 6 course) continues to delight with its focus on clever combinations and fresh ingredients that deliver one flavour bomb after another - always subtle and never OTT. And the wine pairings continue to impress with a passionate and balanced selection that is well thought out and perfectly matched. As with last time, the explanations of each wine were given with clarity and a clear love of the craft! Our compliments to the chef and kitchen team for their outstanding high standards, as well as the front of house staff who worked hard and with skill and politeness to deliver dishes in a timely fashion - in a very busy restaurant! The ambience was noisier than last time with some exuberant tables - but it didn't detract from another very enjoyable evening! This really is fine dining at its best - high standards across the board and without pretensions - perfect for those special occasions - thank you all at the Fig Tree!

Absolutely amazing food, really intense flavours and immaculate presentation. Friendly efficient service with each dish explained. No long wait between courses but equally we didn't feel rushed. An excellent venue for a special celebration meal Overall an amazing experience
