IMO the best overall restaurant in Charlotte. Great selection of food, excellent tasting, very well presented, by a very professional staff. The atmosphere is high.end for date night, business meeting or special occasion. Tonight, their scallops, risotto with asparagus, was outstanding. ×××× When leaving my car had a dead battery. We asked the staff if they could help us. Immediately without hesitation, one staff member offered battery cables and another her car to jump start mine. All within 5 minutes. Why is Fig the best of Charlotte? Food, service, atmosphere, location and outstanding character of the staff. A must visit.

It was my first visit. I thought the food was very good. The service was not as good. Our server did not tell us the wine we ordered was not available until we had finished the first course. When we chose another bottle it took a long time to arrive at the table. We had to pour our own wine after the first glass as our server was busy with a larger party next to us.

We were celebrating at Fig Tree and it was an amazing experience. Our waiter, Zack did an excellent job. He was informative, friendly, very attentive. As always the menu selections were unique and diverse. Great attention from the Chef on preparation and presentation delivered an outstanding dining experience. We had fish entrees, Sea Bass and Barramundi and started with Octopus and ended with crusted pumpkin crème brûlée. What a fun evening.

Our servers were great, very attentive. The food was a little disappointing. We've been there before, and the food was better. I had the Octopus, it was OK just a little too rubbery for me. My wife had the foie gra , she said that was great. I had the the Bison , that was disappointing for the price, I've had much better Bison. My wife had the sea Bass, which is usually really good, but she wasn't too fond of it. The desserts were exceptional. The Location of this restaurant, is what I love the most. I hate going downtown Charlotte, due to the parking issues.

My wife and I went here on our anniversary and enjoyed every moment of it. She got the Filet Mignon and I got the Elk Chops. Both were very delicious and would definitely order them again. Service was great and anbionce was just right. I would highly recommend to anyone. We did get an appetizer of Pork Belly that was just ok (my opinion), not sure I would recommend, but everything else was spot on.

We had a great experience with very attentive staff, great food and ambiance in a quaint house in a quiet neighborhood. Our group of five enjoyed diffent cocktails, sampled multiple appetizers and enjoyed our selection of meals. Our vegetarian friend found some delicious choices. Sadly, we cannot comment on the dessert menu as we were too full to partake.
