The Fennec features a Southern Farm-to-Table cuisine with worldly influences. Our goal is to have numerous items for all guest, dietary preferences and restrictions. We look to provide an upscale dining experience with our food, beverage but most our service.

With nightly live music, an intimate stage setting, a creative southern menu, chic cocktail lounge, and even an elegant event space on the second floor, there really is nothing else in Birmingham like the Fennec.

For booking large parties with 10 or more guests, please call our store directly and speak with a Manager.

A really tasty brunch menu that my family enjoyed. Having live music for a Sunday brunch was nice. Only downside was the service was slow. The service was friendly, but slow.

Such a fun night! We always start with dinner, we love the Connecuh corn dogs & Brussel sprouts. Then it turns into a live music venue. Loved seeing the Kensington’s!

First time here. Will definitely come back--loved the live music and food was uniformly excellent. Great, friendly service. A real find for us.

Brunch was wonderful! Two thumbs up for the Chicken & Waffles, the specialty drinks were fabulous and the music/vibe was a treat. Also great service! We'll be back for sure!

We eat out quite often in the Birmingham area. We are purveyors of the performing arts and anytime we were up there seeing a play. We look for new restaurants. This was our first time to this restaurant and it definitely will not be our last. In the several years that we have been visiting Birmingham and trying out new restaurants, this has truly been our favorite. The ambiance is great and the food is even better. The cocktails were magnificent. Cannot wait to come back and try more of their dishes.

My husband and I took my mother-in-law and father-in-law out for Mother's Day brunch at the Fennec. First of all, the jazz was excellent--it consisted of a violinist and a keyboardist, so it was not too loud to hold a conversation at normal volume. The music was absolutely beautiful; my mother-in-law even started tearing up at one point! The waitstaff always made sure our waters were topped off (a tall order, considering I am seven months pregnant and constantly thirsty), and were quick to take our orders, answer our questions, offer us coffee refills, and fulfill our other requests. The food was outstanding as well. I had the chicken and waffles, and the chicken was juicy, plump, and perfectly breaded. My husband had the hash and ate every bite. My usually picky in-laws loved their French toast and breakfast plate entrees. The beignets held their own as the best I've had outside of New Orleans. Overall, highly recommended and will definitely be back!

The drinks were great. We had the sweat pea dip and it had no flavor. One of us had the duroc pork chop with Brussels which WAS HUGE and looked amazing, but again, no flavor. The other had scallops which were very good and root vegetables which weren’t seasoned. Overall everything we ate was lacking in seasoning except for the scallops. After we received our food we didn’t see our server for 15 minutes so we couldn’t ask for salt and pepper until we were mostly finished, but it did make a difference! Ladies restroom had no soap or paper towels and men’s had no soap dispenser. The server blamed it on the fact that they’re a nightclub. Maybe stick to the drinks/nightclub and don’t serve “higher end” food.

We are very sorry your food selections were not up to your expectations. These items you tried are brand new menu items that we put on our menu this week that we obviously need to reassess. Our apologies also for the service delays and issues with the hand towels and soap. Additionally, thank you for bringing these issues to our attention so that we are able to learn from them and address.
