Great food as always. The food is consistently delicious. Service was but below par of past experiences but still adequate.

My ribeye was very grisly. The green beans were under cooked. I had to ask for pepper and salt shakers.

This location has been my favorite as it is smaller and more intimate. Last night I was a bit disappointed. We went for my mothers birthday and the service was not at all what we are use to, we could tell he was stretched thin as he didn’t check on us much(when we needed things). The food took a bit to come out and when it did, two of the meals at the table had to be sent back because of being made incorrectly. The server wasn’t super personable and I could tell he was in a rush each time we interacted. For the prices we paid for our dining experience I was extremely let down that I chose to celebrate a birthday here.

Federal Grill consistently serves great food. I tried a new dish recently and will add it to my favorites. The salmon and shrimp & grits are outstanding. Our server Raphael was efficient and helpful with menu choices. We'll be back

This is one of my favorite Houston restaurants. Consistently good food and service and never a stuffy atmosphere. We had a large group that was sat in the bourbon room on what was a very busy day for the restaurant staff during the holiday season. Service was great, cocktails and food delicious. This is a great place for a date, business meal or family meal. Get the cheeseburger eggrolls!

The restaurant was very festive for the holidays. We had a beautiful table location. Started great, didn’t end as great. We never got one of the sides ordered, the other side came out after we finished our meal. I had noted on the reservation we were celebrating a 30 th birthday, but there was no acknowledgment of the occasion and towards the end of our meal, our wait staff seemed to disappear. We have eaten here many times and love the restaurant. Perhaps it was too busy with all the holiday celebrations. It is always excellent.

The restaurant has 5 distinct seating areas. The Bar, the high tables near the bar, the low tables on the edge of the bar, outside, and the dining area (which is outside of the influence of the bar). Depending on what type of dining experience you are after has a lot to do with where you sit. The bar area is lively and loud. We were seated on the edge in low tables and the bar crowd was hovering too close. If you ok with the bar energy can be fun. If you’re looking for more intimate and quieter ask to be seated “in the back”.
