Inspired by the rich culinary traditions of Northern Italy, The Fat Ox brings a taste of the Italian Alps to our guests. Our name, "Fat Ox," pays homage to the robust flavors and hearty dishes found in Northern Italian cuisine. Symbolizing strength, endurance, and the bounty of the land, it reflects our commitment to serving exceptional meals crafted from the finest ingredients, sourced locally whenever possible and prepared with care & expertise. Our view for our guests is: We just want to have fun!

Had a great meal , the beef rib , which was delicious. Our waitress Georgia was excellent.

The restaurant is cozy with touches of luxury in spots. Beautiful lighting and one of the comfiest chairs i have sat in recently. From 2-6pm you can order drinks and their happy hour menu which are perfect small portions of their dinner kenu items. Great to try more things. From drink menu I can recommend mocktails. The bartender won't just serve it as an alternative, it's the true work of art. The cucumber mule beats the original and the spritz was just as refreshing. The highlight of the dinner was the arctic char. I would come back especially during the overlap of happy hour 4-6pm when the diner menu is also served.

Great food. Has a big city feel (Vancouver, nyc) Service slow. Waited 1/2 hour between appetizers and meal and main course was forgotten

Love this restaurant. Service was great and food was 100% on par. Was quite impressed with over all experience. Can’t wait to go back.

We had good service and the food was good. Enjoyed the pasta and the Scampi appetizer.

Kevin was absolutely excellent - he knew all the food recommendations, the wine and he really listened. I would highly recommend this restaurant- particularly if Kevin is working!

Service was definitely out of this world. I believe his name was cam??? But he was fantastic and would answer anything about the menu or restaurant, food was fantastic and we will definitely be coming again.
