If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! This was hands down the best meal we've had since arriving in Banff. Our server, Molly, was incredible—she took the time to explain the menu and gave us great advice on portion sizes. We started with the bruschetta and the 30-year-aged prosciutto and mustard melon - both were absolutely delicious. For the main course, we enjoyed the creamiest carbonara I've ever tasted, loaded with pancetta. If you're in Banff and don’t eat here, you're truly missing out!

Tagliatelle with Bison and Veal Saltimbocca were outstanding. The Bison was over cooked and tough.

We were very surprised at how good the meal was. Pastas were good (bolognese and spaghetti and meatball) service was attentive.

Service was great once we were sat where we wanted. We were originally seated next to a very loud group of friends who evidently knew the restaurant staff & were seeing them for the first time in a while. Whilst it’s lovely to see old friends meet up, they were so loud it was impossible for us, as a couple to have a conversation. I asked if we could sit somewhere else but was told that ‘we’re fully booked’ (there were about 8 empty tables) & that I’d be cold nearer the door (which I wasn’t). After persisting, once settled, the waiter was very friendly & helpful & the food, whilst very rich, was very tasty. (We had chicken in a lemon sauce). Menu is limited; most dishes are bison or elk which, whilst a local cuisine, wasn’t to my taste. Very few (if any) vegetarian options. Wine is very expensive. We shared a plate of olives & pecorino cheese; ate chicken in cheese crumb each (no sides); mango sorbet to share (excellent); a very mediocre bottle of red; a brandy & a baileys. Total bill c.$C270 Inc 20% tip. I wouldn’t return - whilst waiter was great & couldn’t have done more, it was very noisy & echoey; the menu was very limited & the drinks way overpriced. I’d say more suited to young groups rather than a quiet dinner for two.
