My regular place to eat and take visitors, they had made a small mistake on my last visit and went out of their way to correct it, remembered who I was even though my regular visit is maybe twice a month and mad me feel valued, THAT IS WHAT I CALL EXCEEDING EXPECTATIONS wow !!!!

The Fat Badger may be a small restaurant, but it offers a lovely atmosphere with lush lighting and charming decor. It feels cosy and inviting, making for a wonderful dining experience. The food is amazing—so full of flavour and beautifully presented. I highly recommend the Badger Burger; it was incredibly tasty and left me wanting more. Overall, a fantastic place to enjoy a meal in York. I'll definitely be returning!

Really nice pub with tasty food, but once again they’d sold out of beef burgers (not the first time I’ve had this) so we had to change what we wanted to order. Staff are very friendly but drinks did take a while to arrive when on the face of it, it didn’t seem that busy. Having said that we would go back again as it’s nice atmosphere and the food you get is always very good.

great little pub, very authentic. good vibes and will definitely visit again. Food was tasty and worth the money. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent service
