My wife and a daughter enjoyed a fine dinner, whilst on holibobs. Food and drink was great, and the service was helpful and friendly. A great evening out was had by all.

Very good food. My wife had the cottage pie and said it was the best she had ever tasted. If we go to York again we would have no hesitation in going there again

Great food. Large portions. The Haddock was very good. Burger and beer on Mondays is a good deal. We did book ahead and advised them that we had a birthday celebration but the staff didn’t acknowledge anything.

Three of us had Sunday Lunch at The Fat Badger, York. Straight to our pre booked table in a nice quiet room. Service was attentive and fast but not intrusive. Two roast pork and one beef lunches. The meat was cooked perfectly, an abundance of veg, roast potatoes and a large Yorkshire pudding. A very substantial and tasty plate of food. My only comment that isn't totally positive was the cost of an additional Cauliflower cheese side. Either put some on the plate or reduce the cost of the side. Otherwise a very positive experience.

Our waiter was lovely funny man and made the experience great for my parents visiting me in the UK from NZ. The Sticky Toffee pudding was honesty the best we ever had!
