The Fat Badger restaurant offers an exquisite dining experience in the heart of Harrogate. The restaurant serves superb quality AA rosette food in elegant surroundings.
Dining during Monday - Thursday your table is likely to be allocated into our bar area.
Tables for our bar on weekends and outdoor patio all the time can not be booked in advance and are offered on a first come first served basis.
Dogs are welcome if customers are happy to dine in our outdoor areas.

Food was great, cheesy potato topped slow cooked lamb shepherds pie. Large chunks of tender lamb, divine. Friend had chunky haddock, chips & minted peas. Fairly priced for the quality. Service was excellent, very attentive staff. A little lacking in ambience, few people in and lighting a little gloomy. Overall a pleasant lunch and would recommend.

I’ve been here several times and the experience was consistently good. Highly recommend the Sunday roasts and the mussels - friendly staff and great ambiance, and the restaurant manager is especially attentive.

We ate in the restaurant. Lovely decor, cosy but stylish. Staff were very friendly, and the food was lovely.

Our meal was good but the service wasn't, despite the place not being busy. We had to find someone when we wanted to order desserts and when we wanted to pay. The staff were not at all engaging or friendly. there are so many eating places in Harrogate which are better than this.

First time at the badger for fathers day meal and drinks, quick service lovely food and good value for money, cocktails nice and very clean, great atmosphere with friendly staff. Definitely will return and reccomend.

Second time we’ve been for a meal and didn’t disappoint. Excellent food with great customer service. Only gripe is that we went to the bar for an after dinner drink and were overcharged/ incorrectly charged by a member of staff who didn’t exhibit great customer service skills. Otherwise, a thoroughly lovely evening.
