The Fat Badger restaurant offers an exquisite dining experience in the heart of Harrogate. The restaurant serves superb quality AA rosette food in elegant surroundings.
Dining during Monday - Thursday your table is likely to be allocated into our bar area.
Tables for our bar on weekends and outdoor patio all the time can not be booked in advance and are offered on a first come first served basis.
Dogs are welcome if customers are happy to dine in our outdoor areas.

Booked for my husbands birthday. Both our meals were delicious I had the ox cheek pie and my husband had the seabass. It was all so good we went back the next day for Sunday lunch. We definitely recommend

We had set plate Steak for 2 people. It was amazing. Worth very penny £70 for two. We shared a cheeseboard more than enough for 2. Recommend here. Staff very polite without being in your face. 10/10.👌🏻

Unfortunately our first experience to the fat badger was spoilt by the head waiter who made us feel undervalued and rushed through the meal. This was for our 5th anniversary and when booked online I requested a rose on the table which was not done, even when asked what the celebration was for and any requests. Being placed in a dark corner of the room also didn’t help matters. The food was delicious and worth the money however our experience was very much tainted by our rushed service, a condescending head waiter and a lack of care. I don’t think we will be returning any time soon

Lovely restaurant, ambience and decor. Service was good and not over intrusive or rushed. Hubby would have liked the burger to have been a little bigger but said it was very tasty. I highly recommend the traditional haddock and chips, beautiful flaky fish and proper mushy peas.

The Sunday roast is excellent, good portions and very tasty. The service is very good and the decor and surroundings are beautiful.

Been a while since we last visited The Fat Badger. I was pleasantly surprised with an increase in quality of food which was excellent. Service was very good. Will be visiting again in the near future.
