Sitting in the bar section was the best experience we’ve ever had. The bartender/waitress was super fast and efficient. The food was great.

Our waitress was a bit slow. Had to ask others to get us things we needed. 5 of us and 3 of our orders were not correct. She blamed it on the kitchen? This is about my 4th time back here and I'll keep coming back. We paid the bill and left her a good tip. Chalked it up to experience. Again, we will be back.

We ate outside on the patio with our 2yr old grandson. It was a beautiful day and our server was wonderful!! Our food was delicious.

The place is adorable! The food is farm to table and absolutely excellent - like something you’d drive into Chicago to enjoy. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The property was beautiful and we wanted to explore more. We will be back!

Second time visiting. First time was amazing and for my birthday. This time was for my mother’s birthday . They travelled from PA. I raved about the place when we went the first time. I was sad to hear they “ran out of birthday cards.” I guess that means they only do so many birthdays a day 🤷🏼‍♀️. Service was okay, nothing major to complain about, nor rave. Food was decent but by no means like our first visit. They were out of cheese curds 🙁. Our steaks weren’t exactly cooked correctly, but the taste was still amazing. My parents were happy. I will be back. Still have more menu items to try. Just hope it’s like the first time!

I was looking forward to checking this place out. First, I had made a 10:30am (4 people) reservation but traffic through Chicago caused us to be about 20 minutes late. I called ahead to let them know we would be late and why. They said the next available reservation was 2 hours later and wouldn't hold our table. So we drove as quickly as we could. Walked in the door and nearly laughed my head off. The place was nearly empty. They couldn't hold our reservation???? The food was really quite good but the bacon - OMG! The bacon was NOT cooked. It was white, pale and so limp. When we ordered, we had asked for crispy bacon. We sent the bacon back and they brought it back in just a few seconds, obviously deep fried. It tasted like everything else that had been deep fryer. We we asked for freshly cooked, crisp bacon. It felt like almost out of spite, they brought back bacon that they had put under a press and it was so hard, it broke in our hands. I know they know how to cook bacon properly because the bacon in the bloody Mary was perfect. There were other service issues, such as we were told there is no jelly with the toast. As we finished, the waitress brough jelly to the table. Many other things. We finally got the attention of a manager who act as if she was completely annoyed with our group. They did comp the bacon and gave us 10% off the bill but there are bigger issues here. Instead of managers standing around chit-chatting, they should keep an eye on the staff and kitchen, help where needed and NOT get so easily agitated with justifiable customer issues. I do not think we were being disrespectful to them nor did we complain about anything that wasn't justifiable. So overall, I was disappointed with the service, mostly, and likely won't stop by on our next trip that way.
