Despite nice decor, service was extremely slow. It took 15 minutes for water, 30 minutes for drinks, and an hour for food. Burnt appetizers, poorly presented mains, and overcooked shrimp worsened our experience. The host was kind, but the waitress avoided us and didn't compensate for poor service. Highly disappointing for a higher-end restaurant.

The Farmhouse is in the same family of restaurants of the Blackwall Hitch/ Lodge, and the quality and taste and ambience mirrors each other. Everything is excellent across any restaurant. The Titan Group has a good thing going on with the farm to table experience. I couldn’t recommend them enough.

We couldn’t have been more impressed with the service and the great food. Everyone in our party of four had something different and each meal was delicious and came with more than ample servings. The service was top notch across the board from our charming waitress to the busboys delivering and clearing our plates. Without question all of us will come back and spread the word amongst our local friends that The Farnhouse is a must for lunch or dinner.

The first time I visited The Farmhouse in Gambrills, the food and service were nearly perfect. The manager even stopped by to check on our party, ensuring everything was to our satisfaction—and it was. However, when I returned about a week later, my experience was quite different. Our server brought overcooked cornbread to the table, which was extremely dry. We couldn’t understand why it was served in that condition. Then, two people in my party ordered steaks—one medium and one well-done—with completely different sides. After they started eating, they realized their steaks had been switched. The person who ordered medium had the well-done steak, and vice versa. When I brought this to our server’s attention, she apologized, but that was the extent of it. No manager checked in, and no compensation or discount was offered, which was disappointing. That said, the food at The Farmhouse is so good that I’m still giving it 4 out of 5 stars. I just hope my next visit is more in line with my first experience.

Kai gave amazing service. He was very knowledgeable on every menu item. He was very accomodating to all of my request and made great suggestions. He is a true value to The Farmhouse as his level of service should be a company standard.
