Since it was New Year's Eve, there was a limited menu, or else choose the special holiday menu. We decided to go for the holiday menu. Everything was very good up until the entree. We ordered the grilled beef medallions and requested medium rare. When the plates came out, I was surprised, almost shocked at the difference in size of the portions - the two medallions on mine were quite small. I had a huge amount of risotto and he had half that amount. The meat, unfortunately, was not medium rare, but rare. We didn't send it back, though. For dessert, I ordered the peach cobbler and was very disappointed with it. It was so bland; the peaches had no flavor at all. My husband offered me a taste of his apple pie, which was quite flavorful.

Management is outstanding and our server was very personable. The food was very delicious. I’ll definitely be going back.

The only thing I do not like about this restaurant is that you are charged a fee for using a card as opposed to using cash. We just don't carry cash anymore, restaurant prices are already high.

My friends and I went to celebrate my birthday. We were seated five minutes after arriving, which was great considering our reservation was for a 1/2 hour later. The service was impeccable - catering to our every need. The food was flavorful and portioned just right. The decor and ambiance were beautiful and inviting. It was worth the experience. I will definitely recommend this restaurant and will come back again. That's how much I enjoyed it. Great!!!

I am not sure what happened during my visit. However, the food was not good at all. We visited with another couple, and the food was very bland, my pizza was hard and burnt on the bottom, my friend's food had to be sent back because the pork chop she ordered was not cooked properly, you could see where the pork was not cooked. The drinks were fine.. The performer playing the guitar was nice until he started singing. His singing is not good at all. I'm very disappointed because the previous experience was fantastic.

We visited on Christmas Eve with a party of four and had a reservation. We were seated immediately and greeted by our server. The restaurant did not seem super crowded, but the service was slow. Took asking twice for a sweetener caddy and the food took an inordinate amount of time to come out given the number of open tables. Food wise, let me share the positive - the garlic steak bites were very good. The deviled eggs were also good, but not something I’d order again. My husband got the sirloin with a side of garlic mashed potatoes. The steak was very good, but the potatoes were very dry; almost crumbly. Speaking of crumbly, my son ordered the Chicken and Biscuits. The biscuits were hard, dry, and crumbled; he had to ask the manager for fresh biscuits. The chicken and gravy portion was lukewarm warm and based on the “coating” and texture of the gravy, it was clear it sat under the heat lamp far too long. Again, given the number of guests, not sure why the food sat so long. Two of us had salmon. Both entrees were also luke warm and the fish was dry; I assume it also sat under the heat lamp too long. My son ordered a second cocktail that didn’t arrive and the server told us it went to the wrong table so we were pretty much finished eating by the time the drink arrived. I will admit that other than the biscuits, we did not send any food back because the amount of time to get the entrees the first time, we didn’t have time to wait any longer. One good entree out of four and not such good service isn’t a good enough score to get me to visit again having spent $240 for a mediocre experience.

My family and I recently dined at The Farmhouse and had a wonderful experience! I ordered the pan-seared rockfish, which was perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. The charred corn and risotto was standout side that I thoroughly enjoyed. My family members couldn't stop raving about the smashed potatoes and honey Old Bay wings—they were a hit at our table! Our waiter was incredibly helpful with dinner selections and attentive throughout the meal, making our experience all the more enjoyable. The ambiance was lovely, adding to the overall charm of the evening. I highly recommend The Farmhouse for a delightful dining experience!
