Enjoy the evening by arriving at 6:15 pm to receive a complimentary glass of bubbly. At 6:30 pm, our staff will guide you to your table with in-season garden flowers, fresh linen, and gorgeous views. Our four-course, wine-paired meals feature homegrown and house-made Farm-to-Fork menus prepared bi-weekly by our Executive Chef, Andy Shipman. To enhance your experience, inform your staff of any special occasions and/or dietary restrictions at least 48 hours before the reservation date. To ensure the quality and freshness of our meals, late arrivals may receive an altered menu and may commence with the course being served at the time of arrival. No children or pets are allowed.

We had the Valentine's Wine Dinner at The Farmhouse. The setting, service and food were exquisite. My only complaint was the long waits between courses. We were seated in the patio area (enclosed), which was apparently the last section to be served each course. The presentation is fantastic, and the pours ample. At the end, the chef came around to speak with each table which was a nice touch. This is a great place for that special occasion!

This is the best meal we’ve had in Charlottesville. The wine and food go together perfectly. The ambience is really sublime, and the experience is fantastic. We really enjoyed the lamb and garlic hummus, that was a complete surprise. The Chardonnay, which was on the second course, was a revelation, we both thought that it was much better than we thought it would be. Highly highly recommend this place.

The wine pairing dinner at the Farmhouse was a perfect way to celebrate a special occasion. I highly recommend combining it with an overnight stay, which comes with a fabulous breakfast.

This was our second visit to The Farmhouse in a 2 week period, and even though the menu was the same, there were slight differences that were delicious. The staff is always very friendly and very professional - and great dining experience that we recommend highly!

The Farmhouse offers an elegant yet homey feeling with its 4 course wine paired dinner. Staff are helpful and provide an explanation of each course including the wines. We have gone the prior 3 years over the holiday season. This year the menu was a bit disappointing as the main course, filet of beef and a potato has seemed quite ordinary. First course veal palette was excellent as was dessert, peanut dacquoise. Second course braised fennel with prune puree, arugula, and orange supreme was tasty but not memorable. The Claret wine was our favorite. Ambiance is always pleasing.

Excellent dinner with wine pairing. Service was outstanding. Arrived early to enjoy the welcome champagne and Christmas decorations throughout the downstairs.
