Sherwin Jacobs heads the kitchen and promises to deliver an experience you will not forget specialising in quality, fresh, local produce. The Location is great. It is an hidden gem near Hitchin. The staff has been very nice and focus in given the best possible customer experience . Food was also delicious but the main size could have been a bit bigger! The duck breast was really too small to be a main. The is my only feedback. However, looking forward to come back for another special occasion

Excellent experience. Lovely surroundings, staff friendly and food amazing. They even surprised my mum with a birthday desert and we didn’t even tell them they just overheard us talking at the table. Mum was over joyed.

Sat in the beautiful garden enjoying a roast beef, food was superb and the service was excellent.

A real gem! Lovely to find a place that serves delicious food at reasonable prices that is presented impeccably by caring well trained servers and all in a simply beautiful setting!

We choose Redcoats to celebrate our 19th anniversary. Everything was absolutely delicious and the staff is really friendly and welcoming. Over the last years we’ve been there few times , for special events, occasions or just for a dinner. A beautiful place and we love coming back 3-4 per year with the same big smile on our faces. Thank you

The food and service were excellent. Unfortunately the level of sound was very loud. One of us wears hearing aids, but we both found ourselves struggling to hear. It would be good if you could have tables for two in a quieter area

Perfect experience in every way. Faultless. I spent over 6 hours there…lunch, coffees and in the garden and snug. Could’ve stayed a lot longer, and wasn’t at any time made to feel like I’d outstayed my welcome
