Voted "The Best Newcomer" restaurant at the recent May 2023 Food Reader Awards, The Farm Table is all about taking food off the farm & into the fire, celebrating the simplicity of beautiful ingredients grown, reared, caught & crafted on our doorstep.

We aim to get as much from our farm onto your table as possible and if it’s not from our farm it’s from our vibrant community of like-minded artisan food producers, farmers & fisherman who share our passion.

Open everyday 12pm-3pm for lunch and evenings on Thursday, Friday & Saturday 6pm-9pm

Exeter University Graduation 2024 - open for lunch and evenings from Monday 15th - Saturday 20th July for graduation celebrations.

The fresh produce we had was excellent. Good selection of starters. Perhaps the main course choices on the menu need to celebrate the fresh seasonal grown food more. Vegatable dish choices or pasta and other dishes could be included where these ingredients are the stars of the meal rather than just an accompaniment to the fresh meat, which seem to have more emphasis on the menu. Nice atmosphere and pleasant staff serving us. Potentially all servers could be brought up to speed on drink choices if asked about them but understand this is difficult if under 18 years old. Very pleasant evening thanks.

Lovely relaxed restaurant, modern rustic in style with open kitchen. Busy, bustling place. We went for lunch with friends, only onne of us had been before (me) but we usually meet up for brunch at Cow & Cacao café opposite. The staff were friendly and courteous. Menu has good range of small bites/starters, fish, veggie or meat mains plus sides and separate woodfired pizza menu. We shared sardine, broad bean small bites then two of our group had pizzas which looked authentic and were praised. The hake was delicious and, my particular favourite, the woodfired aubergine on pea hummous with dukka was lush. We opted for gelato for dessert. The cacao was so smooth and probably tastiest I've ever had. Highly recommended

Lovely, friendly service. Very appealing menu. I opted for the grilled aubergine with Carlin pea hummus. Absolutely delicious!

Fabulous lunch on way home. So impressed with knowledge of all the waiting staff in relation to my dietary needs. Coeliac disease is an autoimmune disorder and not just a fad, eating Gluten can have serious consequences. Loads of choices for me which is extremely refreshing. Keep up the great work and thank you. 🌟🌟🌟

V Good: I thought the meat and potatoes to be very good, as was the service, beer and atmosphere. Parking is a cinch! With electric chargers. Not so good: The salad and mixed leaves lacked thought and imagination, in my opinion, seeming to be a method of doing nothing and charging for it. V good 2: The flatbread was v good. I enjoyed my dinner and will go back. I would suggest that they work on their choice for salads and green vegetables. EG how about [Tomato and inion salad, crisp lettuce, asparagus, peas, sliced green beans]. Simple and healthy. The Summer pudding was delicious. Ax

Lovely lunch at Darts Farm. Great to try brawn as not normally on a menu. Pizzas were very nice ! Service was excellent as always.
