Voted "The Best Newcomer" restaurant at the recent May 2023 Food Reader Awards, The Farm Table is all about taking food off the farm & into the fire, celebrating the simplicity of beautiful ingredients grown, reared, caught & crafted on our doorstep.

We aim to get as much from our farm onto your table as possible and if it’s not from our farm it’s from our vibrant community of like-minded artisan food producers, farmers & fisherman who share our passion.

Open everyday 12pm-3pm for lunch and evenings on Thursday, Friday & Saturday 6pm-9pm

Exeter University Graduation 2024 - open for lunch and evenings from Monday 15th - Saturday 20th July for graduation celebrations.

    The menu was exciting and and quality of food and service was vey good. Disappointed that with so many good local Devon Cheeses to choose from you only had a poor Devon Cheddar and then a soft blue from Suffolk and a creamy soft cheese from somewhere in the Midlands? Just a choice of three.

    High expectations, sadly not met. Most of The food was nice, 3 of us had steaks.. two were ok, one was not, we did say it was chewy and couldn’t eat it, we were told there was nothing wrong with it, we were wrong! We hadn’t asked for anything else, or a refund, we were pointing it out.. Joel was lovely and a great waiter, shame about the rest…

    I cannot recommend The Farm Table enough. The food was absolutely beautiful and the restaurant itself had a lovely atmosphere. However, the highlight of the evening was the service! The lady who served us was one of the nicest, most accommodating people I’ve ever met. Unfortunately I cannot remember her name, but thank you so much for taking such good care of us! We will definitely be back!

    The Farm Table is consistently good. The food is fresh and beautifully cooked. Excellent pizzas. Staff are great and the service is incredibly well run.

    Absolutely delicious food and excellent service from start to finish. Enjoyed a great celebration of our wedding anniversary thanks to great staff both preparing the food behind the scenes and those serving the tables. Thank you.
