Voted "The Best Newcomer" restaurant at the recent May 2023 Food Reader Awards, The Farm Table is all about taking food off the farm & into the fire, celebrating the simplicity of beautiful ingredients grown, reared, caught & crafted on our doorstep.

We aim to get as much from our farm onto your table as possible and if it’s not from our farm it’s from our vibrant community of like-minded artisan food producers, farmers & fisherman who share our passion.

Open everyday 12pm-3pm for lunch and evenings on Thursday, Friday & Saturday 6pm-9pm

Exeter University Graduation 2024 - open for lunch and evenings from Monday 15th - Saturday 20th July for graduation celebrations.

Everything was perfect for meeting up with friends. Staff were excellent. Decently will return again.

The food quality is absolutely superb, with lots of choice. The ambience though (lunchtime, Sunday) was noisy and lacking in subtlety.

The food is absolutely exquisite! The setting is also very nicely designed, creating a comfortable, and relaxing dining experience, perfect for taking that special person out for a memorable evening.

Service was excellent, timely, friendly and well-informed. Both starters were delicious, seasonal, locally sourced and very fresh. We had broad bean smash with Isle of Wight tomatoes and scallops with pea velouté. Our main, which was hake, arrived cooked to perfection with a beautiful sauce of borlotti beans and rich tomato and wine flavours. I had two Cow & Cacao truffles for afters and my husband had Summer pudding and vanilla pod ice cream. Outstanding.

Service excellent as usual, Flank steak a little bland , however sauce and side top notch as were the desserts, Very good value look forward to coming back again

Enjoyable lunch. Went in before 12 noon although table booked for 12. Didn’t mind as we were only 10 mins early. Didn’t order until 12 as the crew were busy doing stuff until then. Meal enjoyable ambience good.

Another great meal with friends. Food was excellent a BIG thank you to Carl in the kitchen for filleting the Turbot for us, was delicious 😋. Will soon be back

Lovely lunch. This is the second time we have had food here and it was as good as our first experience. The staff are very helpful and our meal arrived very quickly. Thank you
