The Farehouse is located in the heart of the historic Taylors Mill’s Dock No. 3. The mill began its life as the Southern Bleachery and Piedmont Print Works during the height of the Greenville area’s reign as the Textile Capital of the World. Closing as a mill in 1965, the building found a variety of partial uses until revitalization efforts began in the mid 2000s. While many mill revitalization projects have converted mills into condos and other residential projects, the Taylors Mill is proud to be the largest grassroots project of its kind in the upstate of South Carolina. Today the Taylors Mill seeks to facilitate craft and commerce for a new generation in the heart of Taylors, SC. The Taylors Mill is reclaiming creative community.

Our menu focuses on New York style pizza, pub-style appetizers, deli sandwiches, and dinner specials using fresh, locally-sourced meat and produce.

Our server was outstanding. She was attentive and made my friend’s bday celebration a great dinner. The pumpkins outside, the comfortable setting, the amazing food, and bday dessert-all wonderful.

You must get the mussels. We got everything from filet to pizza and all of it was delicious.

A party of four. Three of us got our meals and one of our group got his spaghetti and meatballs after we were finished eating. Waiter was nice, but kitchen dropped ball and should have gotten order out sooner. Food was good but just got there too late.

Love to be able to make reservations on line without calling restaurant. Our table was ready as promised. Food was good and there is a good variety of price points. I had burrata salad - very good. Beer cheese pretzel is a must order. Will go back often.

The Tuesday evening that we were there they were short staffed. Although one server was responsible for all of the tables she did an amazing job. There was very little wait time for the drink and food orders to be taken and served. The waitress was very personable with a very upbeat personality despite the large number of guests she was waiting on. The turkey Reuben, smoked salmon chowder, side salad and were all excellent. Two members of our party had the hamburger special, one said it was good the other felt it was slightly over cooked. Wonderful cozy/casual ambience with the best service, food and prices. Highly recommend!

Started w/ potato wedges, very good… wished the beer cheese was thicker to cling to the potato. Enjoyed 3 entrees salmon and risotto, shrimp scampi w/ pasta and beef filet w/ potatoes. All were excellent. 2 of us had the Cesar side salad… ok but too much horseradish in the dressing… prefer the traditional. Avoid frustration with a reservation. It is very well attended. Thanks… this was a great new dining spot for us!
