    Our first lunch at Eyna and couldn’t fault it. Set menu was reasonably priced with a variety of starters and mains. Food was delicious. Both calamari and chicken literally melted in your mouth. The accompanying salads were very tasty. The service was faultless. Would highly recommend

    Our first visit to The Enya near Basildon, and it was a delightful lunch! We were warmly greeted by a lovely receptionist and promptly shown to our table. The service was impeccable—spotless cutlery, napkins, and tableware, with attentive servers throughout. The food was absolutely delicious. One of the standout features is the large glass window that offers a full view of the kitchen, allowing guests to watch their meals being prepared and cooked. I do have three minor suggestions, though not complaints! Firstly, I only wanted two small glasses of wine but was brought large ones without being asked—no big deal, as it went down a treat, but it would have been nice to be asked first. Secondly, the sensor lights in the toilet area could use a tweak; the only light that activated was in the gents' section, which, since it has cubicles like the ladies', I used by mistake! Lastly, a designated smoking area with cover and seating would be better than the current car park setup for us 'outcast' smokers. Overall, a wonderful experience, and I’ll definitely be back!
