Led by a team of lifelong Chicago restaurant figures, The Evie is a locally-owned upscale dining destination located at the heart of the Magnificent Mile. Led by Partner George Archos (Wildberry Café), Chef-Partner Nick Nitti (Forno Rosso, Lucia Rose, Cucina 3 Italian), and Executive Chef Phil Rubino (Spiaggia, L2O, Cicchetti), the restaurant provides city locals and visitors a place to unwind and indulge while overlooking iconic Michigan Avenue. Named after George’s mother and daughter, the concept puts family at the forefront, with an emphasis on warm, Midwestern hospitality.

Evie offers full lunch/dinner and weekend brunch, presenting a menu of reimagined American classics and city favorites, spotlighting dishes like chef-crafted sushi rolls, freshly baked breads, Chicago-style Wagyu hotdogs, and USDA prime steaks. Complementing the menu, our dynamic beverage program weaves together seasonality and elegance, featuring an array of classic and craft cocktails, sake, beer & wine.

We took my best friend here for his birthday last night. It was a party of 9 of us. Reservations were set for 830, however by the time we were seated it was 9p. And we felt rushed. Drinks were quite expensive at almost 24.00 for a cocktail. And while they were good. Nothing spectacular. I had a long Island and then a tequila and lemonade mix. My suggestion is drink before you come and have one drink as the bill can balloon quite quicky. Appetizers were chips and spinach dip which was excellent. One friend got the sushi which he liked alot. Alot of the menu entrees were sold out which was disappointing. However, I got the salmon with the mashed potatoes and a side of cornbread. It was amazing. Simple yet delicious and fulfilling. All of my friends loved their food as well. Bill was about a grand. So a little over 100 each. Not too bad. But alot of us had drinks at the bar beforehand so that was separate. They closed at 10p which to be on a Saturday is a little early too me. However, ambiance was really nice and business casual, cocktail 🍸 friendly. This spot used to be Banderas back in the day.

Beautiful place, service was top notch, food and drinks were excellent! Will definitely be back next time we are in the city!

We decided to try The Evie for my birthday. The staff was very welcoming, helpful and very pleasant. Was happy to take some pictures for us. Food was outstanding, the warm bread and herbed butter were delicious. My lobster roll was so fresh and tasty; not at all over powered by the dressing which can easily happen. Loved the melted butter and lemon on the side. The spicy broccolini was so flavorful and perfectly cooked. My husband said his salmon was also perfectly cooked. It was accompanied by a Japanese style sticky rice which was flavored in the same manner as sushi rice —I could have just enjoyed that bowl all by itself. Tres leche cake and the brownie sundae were heavenly. We will be back for sure!

Thanks for the great service and food. The hostess was awesome and put us by the window. I really appreciated her going out of her way to accomodate us. I didn't catch her name but I had asked for the window seat and she delivered!

This has become my favorite lunch spot. I take clients and staff. I also like to drop by at the bar and have a relaxing lunch alone.

I enjoyed visiting The Evie for my birthday celebration with my sisters. I had not visited in a while, but I always appreciate when you have great service and you & the server remember each other, which happened. Jack is so lovely, and a joy to encounter. The selections were delicious with the exception of the bread puddling, which was dry and lacking flavor. The Evie is always a great choice.

Absolute perfection. The drinks, service and food were outstanding. We had the Evie salad that was big enough to share with 3 people and more. The cornbread croutons were genius and generous. I would highly recommend the prime rib benedict was juicy and hot. I can’t wait to come back.
