Led by a team of lifelong Chicago restaurant figures, The Evie is a locally-owned upscale dining destination located at the heart of the Magnificent Mile. Led by Partner George Archos (Wildberry Café), Chef-Partner Nick Nitti (Forno Rosso, Lucia Rose, Cucina 3 Italian), and Executive Chef Phil Rubino (Spiaggia, L2O, Cicchetti), the restaurant provides city locals and visitors a place to unwind and indulge while overlooking iconic Michigan Avenue. Named after George’s mother and daughter, the concept puts family at the forefront, with an emphasis on warm, Midwestern hospitality.

Evie offers full lunch/dinner and weekend brunch, presenting a menu of reimagined American classics and city favorites, spotlighting dishes like chef-crafted sushi rolls, freshly baked breads, Chicago-style Wagyu hotdogs, and USDA prime steaks. Complementing the menu, our dynamic beverage program weaves together seasonality and elegance, featuring an array of classic and craft cocktails, sake, beer & wine.

Food and service were absolutely amazing!!! Best salad I think I’ve ever had, and everyone’s dish for my pretty large party was on time and cooked to perfection. Definitely a great spot for good vibes and good energy. The cocktails were also amazing.

Our server Lisa was very attentive, and knowledgeable. The ambiance was wonderful for a romantic night out. The drinks were heavily poured. The food was hit and miss. Their Prime Rib Dip was amazing and they sell out of it every day. That’s something I really never order so it was not easy to impress me with a dip. My husbands filet and the bread pudding dessert were a bit average. The bread pudding had an odd taste to it unlike any other version I have ever had of that dessert. I would not order that dessert again. I’d consider going back for a lunch perhaps. But likely not for a special occasion.

The kitchen has finally hit its stride; Great burgers and sushi rolls! Server did not maintain table cleanliness. We will return!

The ambiance and setting/location is very nice--it is absolutely identical to the the former restaurant, Bandera. There was nothing wrong with our, meal or visit, but also nothing memorable that will draw us back. Poke bowl was good but should be served in a much bigger bowl (for mixing purposes) as it was impossible to mix without everything spilling everywhere. The crispy chicken sandwich was fine, but again, not anything special. Sodas were served in small bottles so not refillable which was disappointing. Lastly, the service was professional but not warm, attentive or remotely apologetic for mistakes (delivered wrong entree as she "heard" me say something different when I ordered). I don't know, it wasn't a bad experience but nothing about Evie makes me yearn to go back- which is disappointing.

Our meal was amazing! Charlie was our server and he was wonderful. We really enjoyed the meal as we are in town to celebrate our anniversary and to see The Rolling Stones 😊

It was good to see familiar dishes on the menu at this new restaurant. We will definitely go back for old favorites with a new twist.
