Led by a team of lifelong Chicago restaurant figures, The Evie is a locally-owned upscale dining destination located at the heart of the Magnificent Mile. Led by Partner George Archos (Wildberry Café), Chef-Partner Nick Nitti (Forno Rosso, Lucia Rose, Cucina 3 Italian), and Executive Chef Phil Rubino (Spiaggia, L2O, Cicchetti), the restaurant provides city locals and visitors a place to unwind and indulge while overlooking iconic Michigan Avenue. Named after George’s mother and daughter, the concept puts family at the forefront, with an emphasis on warm, Midwestern hospitality.

Evie offers full lunch/dinner and weekend brunch, presenting a menu of reimagined American classics and city favorites, spotlighting dishes like chef-crafted sushi rolls, freshly baked breads, Chicago-style Wagyu hotdogs, and USDA prime steaks. Complementing the menu, our dynamic beverage program weaves together seasonality and elegance, featuring an array of classic and craft cocktails, sake, beer & wine.

In Chicago's competitive dining scene it doesn't stand out. The space is very nice but the menu is an odd mix with sushi - burgers. Prices on the high side. Everyone at the table said what we got was 'ok' - thai salad, pork chop and white fish - but nothing they would come back for again. The bar area is nice and it is supposed to have a popular happy hour.

Jack provided incredible and thoughtful service. The Osaka style roll was definitely the highlight. Overall great experience and would visit again!

Food and service were absolutely amazing!!! Best salad I think I’ve ever had, and everyone’s dish for my pretty large party was on time and cooked to perfection. Definitely a great spot for good vibes and good energy. The cocktails were also amazing.

Our server Lisa was very attentive, and knowledgeable. The ambiance was wonderful for a romantic night out. The drinks were heavily poured. The food was hit and miss. Their Prime Rib Dip was amazing and they sell out of it every day. That’s something I really never order so it was not easy to impress me with a dip. My husbands filet and the bread pudding dessert were a bit average. The bread pudding had an odd taste to it unlike any other version I have ever had of that dessert. I would not order that dessert again. I’d consider going back for a lunch perhaps. But likely not for a special occasion.
