Everything at The Establishment begins with well-sourced ingredients from sea and field. Through developing relationships with local farmers and fishermen, our ingredients will be consistently seasonal, fresh, and pure. Chef Elliott Howells' menu will always reflect a clean, focused, and balanced approach, delivering a selection of thoughtful and refined cuisine.

Located in Charleston’s historic French Quarter a few blocks away from Rainbow Row, Charleston City Market, and Waterfront Park, The Establishment features an award-winning wine cellar, over 150 bourbon and whiskey offerings, and a lively bar scene complete with daily happy hour. We feature Live Music every Friday and Saturday starting at 8:00 PM, featuring multiple local artists performing an array of musical genres. Our private dining rooms are perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, or business meetings. We look forward to hosting you for a casual night out or an elevated dining experience.

Needed AC on and steak was ruined with a soup like liquid poured over it. Made steak way too salty. Crab was excellent as was salad.

Our waitress and wait staff were phenomenal.I ordered the muscles because I was craving them and that curved it. That sauce was just brilliant. We enjoyed our dinner very much. It was very crowded and very loud, but you didn’t know because the staff didn’t miss a beat. and treated us like we were the only dinners in the restaurant. It was very expensive but worth every penny.

Outstanding service, appetizer portions are very small :( overpriced as well. Again entree portions small. Overpriced steak worn 6 spoonfuls of mashed potatoes $70 bucks Cocktails save this review. They are crafted to perfection and worth every penny. If money is no object make the reservation. Budget conscious diners..’steer clear’

Entire experience was excellent. Service was fantastic, our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable, we ordered everything she recommended. Food was a 10/10 cooked perfectly and presentation was on point t for the gram! The live piano and guitar players were great ambiance was a great vibe! Highly recommended! Also this is the longest review I’ve left on here place was great!
