Due to the Covid pandemic we have taken the decision to close Mondays for now so our staff can enjoy and have a break. Although this has been a challenging time for all restaurants we would like to thank you in understanding our decision by closing on Mondays. However, please stay tuned to any of our social media pages for updates on our reopening on on Mondays again! Thank you once again and stay safe!

Since 1991, the Epicurean has been devoted to the pursuit of sensual pleasure, especially to the enjoyment of great seasonal food and great local wines from Niagara's region with a true ambiance in our dining room and beautiful tucked-away garden patio.

Our traditional restaurant serves light meals, local wines and refreshments, Ideal for group tours, large parties or casual travelers looking to take a break and just want a light meal. Reservations are recommended

Good in general. No real issues. Have been here twice before a festival show and all was fine

I had read some mixed reviews on google so I was a bit apprehensive about what to expect as we walked in. It turned out to be a great experience with very good food and warm and friendly service. It was a Monday night so maybe a little quieter than it would normally be. We had three courses and rather than feel rushed with the courses coming one on top of the other our server asked us when we wanted each one. We had a wonderful relaxed meal. And it’s true the crab cakes are delicious and full of chunks of crab meat. Would definitely go back in the future

I ordered the pan seared Atlantic salmon. Delicious. Excellent service. Wonderful meal.

It’s beautiful! Our two Martini’s were equal to ONE martini back in NJ but at the same price! I understand there is a 3 oz limit so don’t expect an American martini! The beet salad was delicious. My baby back ribs were delicious! My guy’s salmon was well over done! Our server, Angela, was excellent and we did not make her aware of our meal critique. Unfortunately, I can’t rate five stars!

We ate outside and it was very nice. Service was excellent. As with most things today, the meals were pricy for what they are but, food was good. Not amazing, but good. Our table ordered the chicken, salmon, steak and fish & chips. No complaints and definitely better value than eating at the vineyards.

I have vistited Niagara on the Lakes many times and for some reason I have never eaten here. This time we did. We where a party of 6 and the food was top shelf. I was so impressed from apps to entry. This resturant is a solid 4 stars. I have eaten in many resturants in the area and if you area foodie eat here.

For my money, this is the best restaurant in Niagara on the Lake. We sat in the patio and It was quiet and breezy. Just perfect. Food was superb. I had perfectly cooked salmon and my husband had the biggest juiciest pork chop ever. our waitress was funny, smart and kind. If we lived here it would be our “go to” restaurant. Great for either lunch or dinner. There are many restaurants to choose from in this town. We went to all the top ones and this one was our very favorite.

We had a very nice dinner outside on the patio. Our server had great energy and was very helpful with any questions we had about the menu. The food was delicious, we particularly enjoyed the beet salad, the french onion soup, and the special chicken kabobs. Will definitely be back to try it again!
