Due to the Covid pandemic we have taken the decision to close Mondays for now so our staff can enjoy and have a break. Although this has been a challenging time for all restaurants we would like to thank you in understanding our decision by closing on Mondays. However, please stay tuned to any of our social media pages for updates on our reopening on on Mondays again! Thank you once again and stay safe!

Since 1991, the Epicurean has been devoted to the pursuit of sensual pleasure, especially to the enjoyment of great seasonal food and great local wines from Niagara's region with a true ambiance in our dining room and beautiful tucked-away garden patio.

Our traditional restaurant serves light meals, local wines and refreshments, Ideal for group tours, large parties or casual travelers looking to take a break and just want a light meal. Reservations are recommended

Food was very good and service was incredible. Our waitress was very sweet, accommodating and attentive. We ordered the calamari and soup of the day to start, which was zucchini. Both were very good, the calamari was cooked perfectly. For mains we ordered caprese salad with chicken, striploin steak and the seafood linguine special. Everything was delicious. Would definitely go back!

We’ve been coming to the Epicurean for over 25 years, initially for their excellent sandwiches for lunch and also for dinner when they started a dinner service. Unfortunately this will be the last time we will visit until they improve on their service. We had a server who thinks that every diner is his friend and was overfamiliar but at the same time not really interested in providing good service. He brought us our appetizers (2 salads) quite promptly, then followed by the main course after about 5 minutes even before we were 1/2 way through. So instead of returning after we were done our appetizers he plunked down the mains on the table and walked away saying that he was hoping to have timed the service better. The food themselves were not bad but all the vegetables were undercooked and almost impossible to slice through. The meat dishes, one chicken and one duck were over salted but otherwise unremarkable.

The Epicurean is the perfect place for big group to enjoy a very good meal between shows, especially if one of them is at the Royal George. Highly recommend the fish and chips, burger, and pasta - healthy servings of well prepared food, served hot, and by very friendly servers. The space is massive, so they can easily deal with big groups.

We try to include a meal at The Epicurean every time we are in NOTL. It's always a good decision. The food is great, the service is always professional, friendly, and helpful. Our dinner yesterday was no exception. We'll certainly be back!

We had a lovely late afternoon lunch on the front patio and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had hoped to eat al fresco and the staff was candid about the abundance of bees on the back porch. The front patio was a great alternative with no bees. The food and service were outstanding.
