Due to the Covid pandemic we have taken the decision to close Mondays for now so our staff can enjoy and have a break. Although this has been a challenging time for all restaurants we would like to thank you in understanding our decision by closing on Mondays. However, please stay tuned to any of our social media pages for updates on our reopening on on Mondays again! Thank you once again and stay safe!

Since 1991, the Epicurean has been devoted to the pursuit of sensual pleasure, especially to the enjoyment of great seasonal food and great local wines from Niagara's region with a true ambiance in our dining room and beautiful tucked-away garden patio.

Our traditional restaurant serves light meals, local wines and refreshments, Ideal for group tours, large parties or casual travelers looking to take a break and just want a light meal. Reservations are recommended

Daniel was an amazing server. He made the experience very nice. The food was exceptional and we were not rushed or felt like we were being served for the whole time. We will return I’m sure.

We come to Niagara on the Lake every year from Rochester to see a play and this is the second year we have eaten here. We will probably eat here next year too. Consistently good so far.

We are an elderly couple who were seated next to a large group which included 8 children ranging from about 2 1/2 to 12ish. The kids were less than well behaved and while this was by no means the 8restaurant's fault, it was a poor decision to seat us there. Consequently, the less than stellar review.

Servers attentive, outdoor dining was comfortable and very lovely. Menu was varied, but somewhat limited. Preparation was excellent, The only issue that was annoying was that I requested a garden salad with feta cheese added because the one with feta did not contain greens. The server said it would be an additional $3. He then left to put in the order and returned to say that it would be $5, instead. This was excessive, especially considering the small amount of feta that was served. They may have made a few extra dollars, but they lost a repeat customer.

Each member of our party of four absolutely loved our dining experience. Everything was top notch - food was delicious, service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was second to none. Well done!
