   Fantastic food, attentive service without being in your face, this was our 2nd visit and will certainly go back again. Perfect for celebrating those special occasions!

   We had the set lunch and the food was exquisite. Small portions but ample. (No space for a dessert!) Lovely room and very pleasant staff, attentive but not in our faces too much. A very enjoyable experience and we will be back.

   What an amazing lunch excellent food as always service is exceptional the staff are all so knowledgeable and helpful.

   It was nothing short of amazing! The whole experience was incredible. We did the evening tasting menu for my partners 40th birthday celebration. We are both turning 40 this year and have always wanted to try one, going to a Michelin star restaurant is on our bucket list too. We couldn’t have chosen any where better. The staff were incredible, the food outstanding and we loved design of the whole restaurant it was beautiful. We felt very welcome and we ease, thank you!

   We had the set lunch menu... I love short menus! The food was colourful, tasty and beautiful to look at. The Beetroot Samosas are mini works of art. The staff are warmly welcoming, not intrusive and obviously well-trained in the fine art of service... (a rarity these days, sadly) and much appreciated. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and will return.

   Had been recommended to try The Elephant and we weren’t disappointed. Lovely ambience, friendly and helpful staff. Had requested a gluten free meal when booking and that was accommodated easily. We went for the 3 course lunch menu at £39.95 there were 2choices for each course. My husband had belly pork lasagna which he professed quite delicious, I had beetroot ravioli with goats cheese. Fabulous taste and texture. We followed with skrie cod and creedy duck breast. All delicious topped off with tansy tart and a rhubarb pud. Wines available by the glass with a good selection. Will be returning.
