Located proudly in the heart of Long Beach City, the Eldo - formerly known as the Eldorado - has been a staple in the LBC restaurant community since 1957.
Owned by South African native Trevor Nettmann since 2012 - the Eldo has been restored to its fullest potential & now boasts an eclectic menu of both American // South African fare.
With a sole focus on serving the highest quality food + craft cocktails & locally brewed craft beer - is passionate about cultivating both a local // international menu with an equally captivating atmosphere for each guest.

Food was fine. Definitely not a romantic place. More like a sports bar.

Had our wedding anniversary dinner here, treated amazing. Food was great, had the Wellington and Shepherds Pie as entrees and fried shrimp. Everything was fresh and fast. Also has the signature margaritas which were tasty, recommended for any occasion. Our server Jesse was great, made sure our food was perfect.

Loved appetizers at bar before being seated. Service was great and consistent. Food was very tasteful I had the pork chop and my wife had the beef Wellington. We will be visiting again soon and frequently. 👍🏽

The food was wonderful. Our server was very attentive, and I love sitting in the garden room. We will be going back soon.

Noise level high when close to or in the bar buy out dining away from bar was really cool. Servers were very friendly and considerate. Loved the vibe. Definitely a place to comeback too and recommend.

Over heard a bartender at another restaurant say that this place had the best ribeye in Long Beach, so me and my boyfriend had to come check it out. Our waitress, Payton, was amazing! Very attentive and the food was divine. Drinks gave a good buzz too lol. Will definitely be back!

This is a great place to meet with friends to have a very good meal, and the drinks are very good as well, I suggest you order the Eldo Margarita it is my favorite. The menu is full of great choices I have tried a few and have not been disappointed, and the service is top notch, from the Hostess who greeted us with a smile to our server who was super attentive, The Eldo is a good choice you won't be disappointed!
