The lush and breezy waterfront atmosphere of The Easterly embraces the beauty of the simplistic and
laid-back Caribbean lifestyle. Tucked away in an oasis of palm trees and rich greenery, the restaurant
and bar take on a Bohemian-island vibe. The menu will be ocean-to-table focused, with ceviches, crudos,
octopus, shellfish & lobster, and whole grilled fish as mainstays. We also pride ourselves in our extensive
wood grilled steaks and chops. Locally grown produce and local flavors compliment the dishes, all cooked
over the kitchen’s wood-fired oven, adding distinct rustic flair to each plate. The Easterly offers one of the
Virgin Island’s most robust beverage programs with innovative craft cocktails, twists on Caribbean
favorites and an extensive list of craft beers and wine. The rustic island menu and outdoor locale promise
a social, vibrant and interactive dining experience in the heart of Red Hook on the East End of St.
Thomas.

The Easterly is our "go-to" fine dining option on STT. We have dined here several times by ourselves and with friends since moving to STT May 2024. It's a must for good food in Red Hook. Be prepared for occasional road noise from outside traffic. The food is excellent. There are cocktails, beer and wine by glass & the bottle on the dinner menu. A more extensive wine list is also available but sometimes doesn't make it to the table unless you ask. Service is very good bordering on excellent; what the service team lack in professional technique they make up for with positive attitude, friendliness, warmth, and enthusiasm. We have only had one delay in service on 22 Jan 2025; it took over an hour to get first course. All our other meals at Easterly have been spot on for service and the food has been excellent every time. We have enjoyed and will eat again: Appetizers: tiradito, crudo, fish spread, shrimp tostadas, tamarind ribs & pork belly. Entrees: pan seared tuna, seared wahoo, seafood risotto, hoisin pork chop, double cut pork chop, lamb chops, NY strip, ribeye

catch of the day was outstanding! strawberry grouper. service was great! octopus was rubbery and mussles were undercooked.

Pretty place that aspires to more than it achieves. Food was pretty good, service ok but not terribly professional or warm.

2 days prior to this we went to Prime and Easterly takes the prize on better food and value. To some it’s not a big deal but I also appreciate the uniforms better at Easterly. Prime uniforms made me feel like I was at a Texas steak house.

I got the seafood risotto and my wife got the Caribbean lobster. The seafood risotto was amazing, the lobster not so good. It was overcooked, dry and not tender at all. They cooked it with peppers and a sauce that overpowered the lobster. Our seats were right next to the main drag in Red Hook so it was very unpleasantly loud with road noise. No one ever asked if the meals were ok. Prices are extremely high even by St Thomas standards. Unfortunately. I would not recommend eating here.

Comfortable, welcoming, great ambiance and great food. Family friendly, great for special occasions. There was a birthday happening, there were two families with children. They all received great service and attention. Menu is explained in great detail so there are no surprises. You are never rushed. The food is terrific. We had the fish spread with plantain chips, the ahi tuna entree and the seafood risotto. All were outstanding and beautifully plated. Really enjoyed this restaurant! Terrific staff all around

Great dining experience! The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. Loved the whole yellow snapper and the lamb chops!

We were excited to try Easterly. Our experience was mixed. Once we received our food it was really good. The restaurant decor was really cool. The restaurant was 2/3 full. The service was uneven and beyond island slow. We waited 30 minutes for our drinks with the server coming over to tell us they were getting our drinks ready twice. Not sure how hard it is to pour a beer. My beer had a 4 inch head of foam. The tables around us had a super friendly, attentive server and had a likely has a different experience. Our server was nice, but completely MIA. I smartly didn’t order a bottle of wine or appetizers because we watched how slow our server was with his tables. Hopefully they can figure the service out because the food was solid and overall Easterly is a beautiful restaurant.

Great service, great food. Nice quiet atmosphere. Upscale dining but they deliver an amazing meal so it’s worth the $$$$. We went to another upscale restaurant in the area earlier this week that did not deliver so this was a pleasant surprise.
